Recording Info

Another reason I decided to start this blog was to learn about using DAW (Digital Audio Worstation) software and recording guitar. All examples on this site were recorded by myself.

I use a Behringer guitar link UCG102 connected to my laptop. Early recordings were done in EnergyXT but later I moved over to using Reaper. I use a combination of Native instruments Guitar Combo amp modelling and free VST plug-ins. The audio was then cleaned up in Audacity and saved as an mp3 file ready for uploading.

The drum loops were made in PC Drummer Pro.

All guitar tablature for the site was first created using Power Tab Editor and then exported as HTML files to be easily copied into the articles as text.
